To be permanently marked with a scar, you must first suffer a wound. However physically or mentally traumatic this process may be, it is important to remember, that with suffering and pain comes strength and enlightenment. The most hopeless and hurtful moments bring life’s greatest opportunities for advancement.
Scars, are in no way more suggestive of the vulnerability that makes us mortal, as they are the embodiment of the resiliency that makes the human spirit enduring. Much longer lasting than agony, is the courageous decision to accept negative as temporary and out of it, create a positive mark on the world. A scar if you will… a scar of hope.
